OIC INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CENTRE SDN BHD

OIC International Business Centre Sdn Bhd (OICIBC) was primarily established in 2003 with the objective to promote intra-trade among the 56 OIC member countries, to foster the growth of Muslim Nations’ economy and to alleviate the Muslims’ standard of living.

Since its inception in 2003, the OICIBC have been publishing the international business and investment magazine, OIC Today; the comprehensive business directories, OIC Trade Directory (official publication of the 10th OIC Summit 2003 in Putrajaya), OIC Tourism Directory and OIC Education Directory; the news update tabloid, Muslim World BIZ Newspaper and various other publications that aims to disseminate information for easier access to Muslim World market.

In pursuance of its objective, OICIBC have also initiated activities such as hosting the premier trade exhibition, OIC World BIZ (formerly known as Muslim World BIZ); organising knowledge sharing sessions, OIC-Asia Trade and Economic Forum, OIC Higher Education Conference and World Islamic Tourism Conference; instituted the prestigious award ceremony acknowledging the “Movers and Shakers of the Muslim World Economy”, the Jewels of Muslim World Award and collaborated with other prominent events such as Global Islamic Finance Forum, World Halal Forum, International Islamic Fair, Muslim Furniture Fair Senegal, OIC Human Capital Management Conference and more.

Through these publications and activities, OICIBC have substantially contributed to the expansion of trade and investment between OIC and non-OIC countries and also seen to act as a prominent role of promoting Malaysia as the Global Business Hub.
